We're on a mission to be a new wineskin for the new wine.
I was reminded today of Matthew 25:36 when we visited a hundred of inmates from Tacloban City Jail Female Dorm. They are regular listeners of DYFE, especially Pamalandong (our morning devotional program hosted by Ptr. Aniceto Besas Candole).
I was so touched by their warm hospitality and how they demonstrated genuine spirit when we were singing “Still”. They may have received tokens and Portable Missionary radios from us, but our takeaway from the jail visit is more worth sharing. Looking forward to our next visit.
We would also like to extend our appreciation to JO1 Cabojoc, SJO3 Palana and the rest of their team for accommodating us during our visit. Special thanks also to CHED Tacloban for inviting us to join their annual “Bulig Bugto” (Gift Giving activity) allowing us to meet over a hundred of senior citizens and PWDs to promote DYFE and distribute PM radios.
